PosOptimiser Mobile Retailers who offer connections to multiple mobile operators champion their independence as the reason a customer should connect through their outlets over the exclusive distribution model. POSOptimiser offers a new level of independence because they can now offer quantified impartial advice on best tariffs for their customers using the POSOptimiser product. POSOptimiser is designed to be part of a retail customer acquisition strategy to assist independent mobile retailers in acquiring customers onto a tariff that is best for them. If the mobile dealer connects customers to more than one network our software can be used in-store to determine the projected prices on all tariffs available in that retail outlet. The solution integrates our price re-rating software with our customised scanning, Optical Character Recognition and parsing software to optimise a customer in a retail store in approximately eight minutes. The customer is presented with a report that costs out the projected prices on all tariffs available through that retail outlet as well as associated handsets to determine what the best tariff is based on their usage profile. The retail operator generates a file that is uploaded into the re-rating software over the Internet. The file size is very small and outlets with dialup connectivity can quickly transport the file and receive the results file in real time.
